A Video Demonstrating an Ignition Interlock Device presented by MADD
New rules and regulations are requiring more and more Colorado drivers to use an ignition interlock device while driving. The Colorado Department of Motor Vehicles is requiring drunk drivers to install an interlock ignition device even on first offenses depending on the BAC of the driver during their arrest for DUI. The length of time that the driver will be required to have an ignition interlock device in their car also will vary with the driver's BAC. The ignition interlock device might even be required of some drivers before the driver is convicted of DUI in court.
